Refurbishment Works - Consett Fire Station, Villa Real Road, Consett, DH8 6BH. Please note only one site visit is permitted by each tenderer and this must be before 11th February 2025. Tender Submission Information Required: • Completed Schedule of Works • Completed Form of Tender & Certificate of Non Collusion • Contact details of 2 client references of similar work completed within the last 2 years. • Emailed to jgilbert@ddfire.gov.uk Timescales: Note that the works are planned for the Spring with a notional 14 week duration, please do feel free to return an alternative Tender with a different duration should you feel the 14 week period is not practical. Estimated Key Dates Wed 15th January 2025 - Tender release date Tue 11th February 2025 - deadline for any tender queries and site visit Tue 18th February 2025 (5pm) - Tender Return Date 19th - 26th February 2025 - Tender Assessment, Clarifications Wed 26th February 2025 - Notification of preferred tenderer Mon 10th March 2025 - Standstill period completes, formal appointment of Contractor Mon 7th April 2025 - Commencement on site (this is flexible depending on lead in times required on elements) Mon 14th July 2025 - Completion of works (contract period to be firmed up at appointment stage) Note that responses to tender queries will be communicated to all tenderers by way of a live spreadsheet (with the identities removed).
