Tai Calon are strategically reviewing their construction requirements for the forthcoming years. They are currently considering establishing a 4-year Construction Framework to cover a range of different works.The various lots may include;•General Building Works (Internal and External)•Roofing Works•Internal Works (Kitchens, Bathrooms and Rewires)•Aids & Adaptations•Some Compliancy Contracts (Fire Alarm Maintenance, EICRs etc.)This is not an exhaustive list and the exact scope of the Framework is being worked upon.The Framework may be procured in partnership with another RSL and will be via the OJEU Restricted Procedure. The exact value of the Framework is still being worked upon.The prospective timetable begins with the Framework Contract Notice being published in August 2016 and Award in February 2017. The call-off contracts will then be able to commence in April 2017. These are indicative dates and are subject to change.There will be a Meet the Buyer event earlier in the summer of 2016 to discuss the procurement process with prospective contractors. This will be prior to publication of any tender documents. This event will be advertised on Sell2Wales in a separate advert at a later date.There is no need for contractors to register their interest with Tai Calon at present. This is a speculative notice, and is only to give notice to the market of the forthcoming procurement.
