The Foresty Commission will be awarding a contract for the construction of a new forest road at Brynllin Forest in Gwynedd, to a contractor with specific relevant experience. Our intention is to award this contract for a period of 6 months from September 2011 to 31 March 2012.There will be an option to extend the contract by up to a further 3 months in total. The decision on whether to use the extension options available will be at our discretion and we will base it on the following factors: Extraordinary weather conditions.The estimated length of road will be 1.3 km.The total value of this contract over the entire period including any extension options will be in the region of £45,000 to £80,000.
