This contract will provide DCLG with the specialist technical support needed to discharge its responsibilities for the implementation of the EU Construction Products Regulation (305/2011), the “CPR”, and the capacity to consult with key external partners (approvals bodies, notified bodies, standards makers, manufacturers and specifiers, market surveillance authorities).The aim is to ensure a robust evidence base for positions we adopt in Europe on behalf of the UK (in particular at the SCC), on domestic product regulation and on relevant UK secondary legislation.
