The University is seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, knowledgeable and experienced individual or consortia organisation to produce the Smart Energy Network Demonstrator (SEND) technical specification and design for a subsequent business case and procurement of its installation.This shall include:a) undertake a review of Keele University"s existing Smart Energy Network (SEN) and integration of future phases and developments;b) identify any enhancements required to the SEN to accommodate the SEND;c) monitor and/or implement the SEN and SEND;d) evaluate the needs of individual energy technologies and how they interface with SEN; andf) specification of software, hardware, control systems, including detailing any interconnectivity and working interfaces to enable the implementation of the SEND.The University is carrying out this procurement using In-Tend.
