PLEASE NOTE ACCESS TO ALL DOCUMENTATION IN RELATION TO THIS ENQUIRY AND YOUR REQUIRED RESPONSE SHOULD BE MADE VIA THE E TENDER WALES WEB PORTAL (see access details and further information provided in Section IV below) An experienced consultant in the field of public sector vehicle workshops and fleet management is sought by Wrexham County Borough Council. The Council is leading on behalf of the six North Wales local authorities, and also the wider public sector (Police, Health, Fire and Environment Agency) to examine the feasibility of financial efficiencies arising from enhanced collaboration around vehicle workshops and maintenance.The appointed consultant will be expected to conduct a high level review into the efficiency of existing workshop arrangements, identify and appraise options for change, develop a vision and plan of how the partners could implement changes identified, and collate all findings and recommendations into a final Business Case.The deadline for tender returns is 10.00am on Tuesday 25 January 2011. The Council will make a quick but considered decision on the preferred bidder, and make an appointment for the project to commence on 31 January 2011.
