Consultant Advisory Opportunity: Aligning River Basin Planning and Spatial Planning

WWF UK is calling for expressions of interest from international experts in regional and/or urban planning who are interested in acting as senior advisers to the authors of a book on Aligning River Basin Planning and Spatial Planning. WWF has an ongoing collaboration with GIWP, part of the Chinese water ministry, to explore strategic water management challenges. The main outputs of the collaboration have been a series of books, published through UNESCO, which have formed the basis for guidelines that GIWP issues to water managers across China. The book series sets out state-of-the-art guidance for planners and policy makers in government ministries / agencies, development finance institutions and the wider natural resource management community. This is a flagship project for the global WWF Freshwater Practice, which uses the books to inform its work to influence water management across the globe.
