The Clinical Communications Gateway (CCG) was developed and is supported by National Services Scotland- a Public Body providing services to the NHS in Scotland.NSS have provided the system to the HSC and is used to send and track electronic referrals between GPs and secondary and community care services. NSS provide application system support and upgrade services to the HSC.CCG is the regionally agreed referral mechanism between Primary, Secondary and Community Care services.
