Descriptions

A contract for the provision of school meals to primary school children, staff and other users of the school sites. The opportunity is for a joint catering service for both Schools, which are located within the London Borough of Lambeth. There will be a single lot covering both Schools. Telferscot Primary School currently has approximately 330 pupils and 38 staff and is currently undergoing a period of significant growth and redevelopment. A second site is to be developed in Telferscot Clapham Park (including a production kitchen) and the current site is being redeveloped with new kitchen facilities. On the current single site, there are approximately 200 school meal sales per day comprising 160 paid and 40 free meals and this is growing year by year. Henry Cavendish Primary School already comprises two sites, each with its own production kitchen. The Balham site has approximately 484 pupils and 64 staff, currently producing an average of 293 paid and 54 free meal sales per day. The Streatham site has approximately 230 pupils and 30 staff and is growing year on year. This site produces 124 paid and 35 free meals.
