Descriptions
When an applicant has been registered as homeless by the Authority and subsequently has to leave their home, it is the Authority's duty, under Part VII of the 1996 Housing Act, to protect their possessions. The Contract comprises the provision of a comprehensive service to remove, store for as long as is necessary, and deliver applicants' furniture and personal belongings to a new address as required.
