Swansea Council require Quotations for training to provide the following:-Instructor led Redhat Linux training to 7 experienced Windows administrators who are transitioning to support Redhat Linux.Instructor led Oracle 12 administration training to 7 Windows administrators with limited SQL administration to enable them to support Oracle 12 running on Redhat operating systems.Due to the size of the teams it will be necessary to split the training schedule to ensure that there is sufficient cover to support the business whilst the candidates go through training.Delivery of courses can be either on client site, local training facilities or remotely delivered by virtual classroom.Supplier to provided course materials and access to training infrastructure. However if required candidates can provide their own laptops to access materials.Due to the availability of staff the above can be provided over a 12 month period.Additionally There has been a change in application packaging technologies and we require training for 8 staff to be able to understand the process, be able create application packages using App-V and publish apps via Microsoft SCCM.As the candidates will come from several teams its possible this course can be delivered on site if this would significantly reduce the costs to provide this training however consideration will also be taken for different course delivery methods that will enable the staff to complete the training in a very short time scale.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=76968.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
