Descriptions
Historically both the City & County of Swansea and Carmarthenshire County Council have secured funding from the Welsh Government to allow National Standards Levels 1 & 2 Cycle Training to be delivered to Year 5/6 pupils (10/11 year olds).Expectations are high for funding from The Welsh Government for 2018-19 with proposals already submitted by both Local Authorities to provide training throughout their boroughs.Providing National Standards Cycle training will equip child pedal cyclists with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to encourage them to cycle more often and safely.
