Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work. Footpath construction work. Surface work for footpaths. Foundation work for highways, roads, streets and footpaths. Foundation work for footpaths. Carriageway resurfacing works. Surfacing work except for roads. Resurfacing works. Redditch Borough Council (the ‘Authority') also acting on behalf of Bromsgrove District Council seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations for Minor Civil Engineering and Ancillary Works for both Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council.The Works briefly include both the day to day maintenance of non-adopted highway infrastructure, which forms part of both Councils' Assets, and undertaking Capital Schemes of a similar Engineering nature. In addition, as Redditch Borough Council is also directly responsible for its own Housing Stock of some 6,000 dwellings, there will be a requirement to undertake Estate Improvement Works to such housing development infrastructure, as and when finance becomes available.'The contract will be for a period of 3 years (with an option to extend for a maximum of a further 2 years).Sub contracting in this contract will not be accepted.
