The Llay site, situated off the Llay New Road (B5425) at National Grid Reference 332990 354510, has a hard surfaced, all weather, internal road leading to a central leachate collection chamber from which leachate can be pumped to a collecting road tanker. The Llan-y-Pwll site, situated off the Holt Road (A534) at Nat. Grid Ref. 336000 351800, has an all weather internal road leading to the single leachate collection chamber.The Llay site.It is intended to continue current removal rates of four, 25 tonne, loads per week. Loads are removed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays allowing sufficient time for the leachate collection chamber to recharge. Removal volumes may be subject to change with both the possibility of increasing removal volumes, in periods of high rainfall, and reducing volumes if prolonged dry weather occurs.The Llan-Y-Pwll site.It is anticipated to remove two, 23 tonne, loads per week although this may reduce in extended periods of dry weather. Loads are to be removed Mondays and Fridays, except bank holidays when alternative days shall be arranged. The 8m (depth) leachate chamber requires a period of two days to recharge.
