This is an innovative, collaborative project to be undertaken at a strategic scale, involving all LPA’s within the Mid and South West Wales (MSWW) Region, focussed on providing a sound evidence base and significant enhancement of skills amongst planning officers across the Region in the assessment of the financial viability of development.The project would be the first of its kind in Wales and would provide underlying evidence for the emerging NDF, regional/strategic level planning and for LDP reviews. It focuses on building resilience at the local authority level in the understanding of viability as a key constituent of the decision making, both for policy making and development management decisions.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
