Contract for the Provision of a Film Office Liaison Service
Descriptions
Waltham Forest is tendering a contract for a Film Office Liaison Service (FOLS) which will promote Waltham Forest as a film location by facilitating and monitoring film/photography productions coming to the borough. Waltham Forest is home to a wide variety of unique locations, including - - Fellowship Square - a spectacular culture and events venue which has undergone an award-winning transformation which saw the creation of state-of-the-art fountains and the historic Grade II listed Town Hall fully refurbished by an architectural team. - The William Morris Gallery - a Georgian house built in the 1740s located in the heart of leafy Lloyd Park. - To name but a few, alongside multiple parks and open spaces, and various commercial and residential properties. Over the past few years, we've played host to a number of exciting productions, including Top Boy, Slow Horses, I Hate Suzie, The Baby and more. We've also featured in several advertisements, with clients such as John Lewis, Co-op and HSBC. We regularly work with industry leaders, such as Disney and BBC, to provide first-class locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a FOLS who can establish Waltham Forest as a leading borough for filming, making it a magnet for filmmakers. Equally as important, the FOLS needs to deliver a high level of customer service and engagement with residents and clients, and deliver social value projects which offer local employment, mentoring and training opportunities.
