Contract for the provision of Mainstream Home to School Transport Services to Buckinghamshire County

Descriptions

The Contracting Authority intends to use the open procedure of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) to procure the public contract (‘the Contract’) and the Contracting Authority intends to procure the Contract for its own benefit. The Contract will include the provision of mainstream school transportation for pupils aged between 4 and 19 years of age to and from Buckinghamshire County Council Schools for every school day of the year (‘the Services’). The Services are divided into specified routes details of each Contract group is referenced in the specification document of the Invitation to Tender. Each Contract group is a Lot for the purposes of this procurement. Further details of the Lots is set out in Section II.1.8 and Annex B.The Service Provider(s) will need to adhere to all key performance indicators, service standards and staff training obligations set out in the terms and conditions and the specification. All Service Provider(s) and their employees will have to be comply with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) requirements pursuant to the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.The Contracting Authority reserves the right not to award the contract for a particular Lot or indeed for any Lot.
