Contract for the Provision of Weekend and Bank Holiday Visiting Service to Sheltered Housing Tenants

Descriptions

The Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experience Providers who would be interested indelivering a weekend and bank holiday visiting service for up to 100 sheltered housing tenants. It is anticipated that the Council will be publishing this opportunity late summer 2019.The purpose of the weekend and bank holiday visiting service will be to check on the health and well-being of those tenants who require avisit and to call for assistance if required. Where assistance is required eg. in the case of a tenant who has had a fall, theprovider will need to ensure that their staff can summon help, this would typically mean calling for an ambulance and informhe tenant’s next of kin as appropriate. It is not the intention for providers to deliver personal care to tenants. This speculative notice has been published to gauge interest from potential providers in delivering this service.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=94026.
