This Framework contract is being let by The Borough Council of Gateshead.Gateshead Council is seeking to enter into a Framework contract with numerous/multiple suppliers who can efficiently provide a range of Construction Small Plant and Tools in specific kits for 13 different trades/disciplines.2 / 5 which will assist the Council in delivering a high quality cost effective Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service together with other operational Construction Services.The Council has recently approved the intention of directly delivering the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Works and Services.The Framework will be divided into Lots as detailed within the specification and outlined below :-.LOT 1 — Trade Kit Consists of a number of different kits for 13 specific trades/disciplines containing a range of power tools and equipment relevant to specific trades. The tools must be provided in kit form and packaged in a suitable holdalls/carry cases where appropriate for easy portable transit.
