The London Borough of Redbridge ('the Authority') is seeking Tenders for the Contract for the Supply of Up to Ten (10), 26 tonne GVW Recycling Vehicles in the London Borough of Redbridge ('the Contract'). The vehicles will be ordered from April 2015 and shall be delivered to the Authority on completion. The Contract shall continue in force until such time as the Authority has received up to ten (10), 26 tonne GVW Recycling Vehicles ('the Vehicles').The Vehicles shall be suitable for use in a busy urban environment, be durable, reliable and of common specification. A full set of ‘service' items covering the first twelve (12) months of operation is to be supplied on delivery of each of the Vehicles and an "Imprest Stock" arrangement is to be managed by the local agent for both body and chassis.It shall be the supplier's responsibility to address all warranty issues (chassis and body) and / or any failures in the Vehicles without delay.The Vehicles shall not be registered until the month of delivery to the Authority.
