The City and County of Swansea is seeking tenders from suitably experienced organisations /companies to conduct all aspects of its next full Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.In summary the successful “bidder” will be expected to;- Produce a fully bilingual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment document and Draft Assessment /Summary document having used appropriate consultation / methodology / fieldwork approaches to gather suitable and sufficient evidence.The full report will need to capture evidence under the following broad headings;•The Socio-Economic Profile of Swansea – (Factors affecting demand & the ability to pay for childcare)•Supply of childcare (work alongside the Family Information Service)•Understanding the needs of parents/carers•Consultation with Employers•Consultation with Children & Young People•Gaps Analysis•Recommendations and Conclusions•Work alongside the Family Information Service Team to produce an Action Plan.The successful “bidder” would also be required to support the publishing of the document, making any necessary amendments following public consultation and prior to the report being submitted to the Welsh Government by 31st March 2017.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=49908.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
