NHS Arden and GEM CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement — highly specialised services (referred to as the commissioner(s) from here onwards) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Vein of Galen Malformation (VOGM) Service as the provider of emergency back-up VOGM treatment to the main provider.The primary patient population is neonates and subsequent treatments in the first year of life. There will be up to 4 patients per year only.The contract resultant from this procurement will form part of the overall provision of treatment for VOGM with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) as the main provider. The successful bidder will provide paediatric interventional neuroradiology treatment on an emergency back-up basis only. The contract will be held between NHS England and the successful bidder. The contract will be awarded for 3 years with the commissioners having the option to extend the contract for up to a further year.
