ECMWF as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) issued eight contracts as a result of the ITT CAMS_95 CAMS Use Cases.The overall objective of the projects funded under this ITT, which are focused on the Eastern and Southern European Countries, is to develop and demonstrate end-to-end applications (product, software or service) based on CAMS products with the aim to stimulate innovative ideas and support the development of downstream applications. Titles of the projects awarded are as follows:— Air quality forecasts for urban environments using CAMS services and public open data sets (Contractor: Heich Consult GmbH).— Copernicus Application Facility for Environmental Effects on Health and Comfort (Contractor: IAASARS, National Observatory of Athens-NOA).— Copernicus CAMS Solar app: Application for rooftop photovoltaic power stations (Contractor: NOVELTIS).— General public delivery of Atmospheric Information through city's media (Contractor: WeatherForce Consulting SAS).— Air Quality Forecasting Service for Riga (Contractor: Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants (CERC) Ltd).— A CAMS Use Case on Air Quality Planning in Urban Areas using the ATMOSYS-CAMS Application (Contractor: VITO).— Use Case on Personal Allergy Symptom Forecasting System (Contractor: Šiauliai University).— Assistance for use of CAMS product in the field of air quality monitoring (Contractor: INERIS).
