Trinity University College, in conjunction with the project partners, is requesting submission of quotations and technical specification from competent persons for the design and development of the project website and social network.The appointed contractor will be responsible for facilitating the hosting and maintenance of the website for the duration of the project to its conclusion in March 2013. At this point the project partnership will assume control of hosting the website.The successful consultant will be responsible for the following: 1.Design of the website; 2.Development of an integrated social network.3.Design of a number of website pages (e.g. home page, profile page, contact page etc…) that can be edited by both parties.4.The entire site should be Content Management System (CMS) driven with templates for main page types. 5.The CMS should allow for the inclusion of external content using html and/or other suitable code. 6.Facilitating the hosting of the website, its maintenance and security for a 3yr period. 7.The website and social network must comply with legislation e.g.a.Data Protection Act 1998,b.The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations,c.Accessibility – The Disability Discrimination Act 1995,d.E-Commerce Regulations 2002.8.The website and social network must be robust and secure from potential sabotage.9.The handover of all materials before the end of the contract.
