CORE BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER Rate of Pay: £10.83 PER HOUR TO WORKER Hours: 37 PER WEEK Location: Working from home and/or Council House, Oldbury Contract type: Temporary for 3 months Job Description is attached, which also provides more information above the role. Job Summary: The successful post holder will be required to provide business support to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team and minute taking support to the Adults Safeguarding team. The candidate will should be able to work to deadlines and cope calmly in pressurised situations, organise and prioritise work effectively with the ability to interpret and make sense of complex information and instructions. In addition, minute taking skills are essential with the aptitude to absorb, classify information and arrange appropriately with attention to detail. Applicants should possess OCR/RSA Level II word processing (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate an equivalent competency and be able to use Microsoft Office applications. At least two years' experience of working in a business support/administrative environment, 12 months experience of working in a social care and/or health related role is essential. A BASIC DBS is required for this role.
