It is the intention of the Council to enter into one long-term agreement in respect of works and services to be provided as follows:A contract for Corporate Building Cleaning ServicesContract for which the key objectives are:—To provide a high standard of cleaning to various types and size of buildings.—Improve customer satisfaction—To provide a flexible service, responsive to site and userspecific requirements—The Contractor to work closely with the council—The Contractor to carry out a system of robust self auditing—The service demonstrates continuous improvement—The service demonstrates environmental improvementsand demonstrates an awareness of environmental issuesrelating to the contract and a willingness and capability tominimise negative impact on the environment by effectiveuse of working practices and products, in particular, water,chemicals, energy and waste minimisation.Tenderers are encouraged to make their own proposals forhe achievement of the Service Specification. It is hoped thathe tendering exercise will provide as wide a range ofimaginative proposals as possible, which will demonstratevalue for money.Council properties that fall within the scope of this contractor contracts include (but are not limited to):Public buildings, Social Care properties and Educationproperties.
