The Merseyside Collaboration Partnership (MPP) is seeking to appoint approved supplier/suppliers to service all requirements for Corporate Uniform for the years 2015-2019. Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) is NOT included in this agreement.Wirral Council is the lead authority for this contractual agreement with the authorities included, Sefton, Liverpool and Halton.This is a framework and will run for an initial four year period, subject to an annual performance review.Following completion of the PQQ, the MPP reserve the right to consider approximately six companies for the ITT stage per LOT.To compare quality of clothing and in order for a selection to be made from the tender responses, following evaluation of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire successful applications will be issued a tender document. As part of the tender evaluation process selected companies will be contacted by Corporate Procurement to request sample garment(s) for a special viewing day. Companies must provide these samples for viewing free of charge. This stage of the tender evaluation is part of the final award process.Following the Sample Viewing Day the MPP reserve the right to undertake an E-Auction exercisewith a number of selected tenderers depending on their technical scores at this stage.Upon award of the contract the successful supplier/suppliers will contact each authority to set up their individual catalogue requirements based on the tendered items.1. Framework composition.The framework will comprise of 2 lots covering the following requirements. Tenderers may bid for 2 lots or individual complete lots.Lot 1 — TailoringThis section includes garments such as ladies blouses, skirts, trousers and jackets. Gents garments include shirts, trousers, jackets and accessories.Lot 2 — Casual Wear/UtilityThis section includes garments such as polo shirt, T-shirts, sweatshirts, tracksuits and accessories.This section includes garments suitable for Kitchen/Cleaning/Healthcare. Also, outer clothing such as work trousers and shower-proof coatsSuppliers listed on the framework will be assessed during the procurement process for their financial stability, track record, experience, technical & professional ability and costs before being awarded a place on the framework.Authorities will have 2 ways of procuring through the framework:Call-off without competition — direct award.Further competition.
