Flintshire County Council, based in Mold, is a unitary Authority providing services to over 150,000 residents in North East Wales.The requirement is resulting from a need to modernise areas of the Corporate Finance service provision specifically around the provision of customer channels to provide a wider range of services which are accessible to all residents within Flintshire.A service modernisation programme has been identified which includes a number of key areas of development to both the structure of the Finance department and the tools used to provide customer services. The projects range from improvements to the structure of the chart of accounts, business process improvements, the Introduction of improved reporting and monitoring tools to specific application improvements.The aim of this project is as follows:•To provide an Accounts Receivable solution which meets the users definition of requirements, is easy to use and is scalable.•To provide an Accounts Receivable solution that can be deployed on the Flintshire ICT infrastructure.•To provide a method of integration for the Accounts Receivable solution to associated core applications as defined in the objectives below•To provide a quotation which sets out implementation support services and associated costs.•To provide a road map for the implementation of the product including key set up activities.•To provide the necessary training to support the use of the product.
