Corporate Natural Capital Account Project for Forest Enterprise England and the Public Forest Estate

Descriptions

Forest Enterprise England is inviting tenders for a project to deliver a Corporate Natural Capital Account for the organisation. Our overarching aims for this project are to deliver a CNCA that enables us to: i.provide evidence to the public, stakeholders and government as to how well we are achieving our FEE mission of delivering benefits to people, nature and the economy through our management of the Public Forest Estate (PFE); and ii.make strategic and business decisions about the future management and development of FEE and the PFE. Specific objectives are to provide a CNCA for FEE that: a)establishes a natural capital asset register for the PFE; b)provides a natural capital balance sheet for FEE; c)provides a statement of changes in net natural assets over a recent time period; d)is consistent with the emerging guidance from the Natural Capital Committee and that therefore has validity with an audience of government, stakeholders and other organisations; e)can be replicated every year by FEE staff to allow future statements of changes in net natural assets.
