Coventry Music Services (CMS) was set up in April 2017 and has delivered music tuition through the use of a Dynamic Purchasing System, which supports the recruitment and retention of external high quality music tutors that work in Coventry schools, the community, and in professional partner venues helping to deliver an excellent service for the City.Arts Council England grant funds all Music Education Hubs (organisations/music services that operate this model), which is performance related and is dependent upon the service meeting the targets stated within the National Plan for Music Education. Coventry Music is committed to ensure that the relationship with the Arts Council is maintained and places Coventry in a strong position to ensure that we continue to drive growth and create a broad and high quality music education offer for the city.
