Devon County Council aims to use its arts budget for 2013–16 to generate benefit for people in Devon in three groups:— Children and young people;— People with learning disabilities, sensory disabilities or physical disabilities;— Older people.The Council is introducing two commissions for arts activity across the county, one for a programme of performances and one for a programme of participatory projects. Each commission will be for a period of 36 months.The general aim for the commissions is to enable people from the three target groups to engage in arts activity that enriches their lives and contributes to their wellbeing.
