Descriptions
The tender is for the recycling of paper collected from household kerbside collections, bring banks and recycling centres. Paper is bulked at numerous stockpiles across Devon. The tender is for the sale of each Council's materials to a reprocessor, but includes an opportunity to also tender for haulage from Council collection points to the plant of the reprocessor.Participants at Contract Commencement will be Devon County Council as lead authority, procuring on behalf of East Devon District Council, Exeter City Council, Mid Devon District Council and Teignbridge District Council. The Contract is being let for the benefit and potential future participation of other Devon Authorities Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee (DAWRRC) members who are North Devon District Council, Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council, Torbay Council, Torridge District Council, West Devon Borough Council and South Molton Recycle.
