School Crossing Patrol Supervision.r Summary of the Contractor's tasks:r •Effectively be the 'ears and eyes' for the Council at the Siter •Endeavour to resolve issues at the site or with the Patrol independently unless it is clearly a task for DCC and one that cannot be dealt with by the Contractor such as a e.g. Managing Sickness Absencer •Training of people to be a School Crossing Patrol or Volunteer School Crossing Marshal (A Marshal is a volunteer who supports children crossing the road)r •Risk management of Patrols, Marshals and School Crossing Patrol sitesr •Visits to the Site and Staff e.g. Supervision, health and safety, health and wellbeing,.r •Annual pedestrian and vehicle count at all staffed and unstaffed sites, likely to be in the school summer term when there are more children walking.r •Recording all of site visit to data on to electronic database r •Delivery of other road safety and SCP Service tasks to replace core tasks if required by DCC.r r Initial period 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 (with options to extend for further periods for the financial years 2024/25. 2025/26, 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29.) r r The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free ofr charge, at: https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.ukr Additional information can be obtained from the above-mentioned addressr Tenders or requests to participate must be submitted electronically via: https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk
