Nottingham City Council is seeking to establish an open accreditation of organisations able to deliver apprentice training across England. The Directory of Approved Apprenticeship Training Providers (DAAP) will be used by Nottingham City Council as a mechanism for securing approved and assessed provider to deliver apprentice training services as they are required. It will also be made available nationally for use by public body employers wishing to train apprentices across England. Nottingham City Council, and other public sector organisations will place orders for training services that meet both the needs of the apprentice, employer and value for money.
