The project is to manufacture and equip a purpose built portable meat processing facility suitable for processing read meat and game to the standards required by Environmental Health legislation.The facility should be at least 10m long by 3 wide by 2.5 m high and capable of being moved if necessary. It should be constructed of a steel outer framework and insulated to 100mm depth with all internal joints sealed and coving to all wall and ceiling joints.The flooring should be laid industrial flooring suitable for food production and walls should be food grade materials.Single phase electrics should be supplied within the building with at least 8 13 amp double sockets. A mains board with lighting sockets and rotary isolator for incoming power supply. Splashproof LED lights should be provided and an extractor fan.The facility will require an air conditioning unit.2 internal walk-in chillers will be required with air flow above 2400m3/hour and air throw of 4 m. The internal dimensions of one chiller should be 2 x 1.6 m and the other 2.3 x 2.8 m. The larger chiller should have a hanging rail system for meat that runs to an external door.2 insulated external doors are required of dimension 2000 x 900 x 80mm and 3 windows are required at least 800 x 600 mm.The following plumbing should be supplied - 1 single bowl equipment sink with lever taps. 1 wall mounted knee operated wash basin. 1 wall mounted bib tap. 1 x copper mains inlet for connection to 25mm MDPEGround works and mains electrical connection to be supplied by others and are outside the scope of this contract.We would not accept bids which looked to re-purpose previously used containers or frames.
