Skills for Care is an employer-led workforce development body for adult social care in England which is a growing sector that currently has around 17 000 employers and a workforce of around 1 500 000 workers contributing an estimated 43 000 000 000 GBP to the English economy.On 10.6.2014, Skills for Care merged with the National Skills Academy for Social Care to maximise the impact of combined knowledge and expertise in the sector. All activities of the National Skills Academy for Social Care now form part of the statutory entity, Skills for Care Limited.Together, Skills for Care and the National Skills Academy for Social Care work with employers and other partners to create a fit for purpose qualifications framework and practical resources to develop the skills, knowledge and leadership of the workforce. Our work helps the social care sector recruit and retain the right people who have the rights skills at the right time to deliver high quality services to people who need care and support in our communities.This tender is for the supply of creative design, digital and litho print and associated services to all Skills for Care divisions and subsidiary organisations. It will include working with two sets of brand guidelines. Services required include design, build and management of digital media, video production, design and production of leaflets, flyers, brochures, publications and magazines.Based on historic transactions, previous annual spend for these services combined has been approximately 800 000 GBP; however, the level of spend fluctuates depending on the number of projects undertaken during the year. This indication of volume of business is not a guarantee of future levels of business and any written or verbal forecasts of annual volumes of business which may be achieved under this agreement are estimates only and are not binding.It is intended that this framework agreement will commence in February 2015 for an initial period of three years. Consideration will be given to extending the agreement for a further one year, subject to satisfactory performance and the agreement of both parties. As a minimum, annual reviews of the agreement will take place and a continual assessment against an agreed service level agreement will form part of the contractual agreement.
