we wish to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified contractor to carry out renewals of Fire resistant door sets to common parts in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2015, relevant Building Regulations and Specification.All works are to be designed and installed in line with requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005, BS8214:2016 Code of practice for fire door assemblies and BWF best practice guidance relating to fire doors, all other current and relevant best practice documents and FIRAS accreditation requirements. The successful Contractor and site operatives who carry out the works must be certified by FIRAS for the installation of timber fire doors.You will be expected to undertake all duties of the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer in compliance with the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, in so far as they are applicable to the Works and adhere to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
