Descriptions
Crossrail will connect the City, Canary Wharf, the West End and Heathrow Airport to commuter areas east and west of London. This contract covers the design, manufacture, testing, commissioning and introduction of a fleet of new main line electric commuter passenger trains, design and construction of a new maintenance depot and associated equipment together with the maintenance of these and all ancillary requirements necessary to provide a specified level of services over a long-term service period.
