4Cs Looked After Children Residential Care FrameworkFollowing the success of the 4Cs Looked After Children Residential Framework, the Childrens Commissioning Consortium Cymru (4Cs) are preparing to re-tender the Framework ready for use by 1st May 2016.The Children's Commissioning Consortium Cymru (4Cs) includes the following Local Authorities: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, Cardiff, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT), Swansea, Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan, Powys. RCT host the Regional Commissioning Unit and will act as the Lead Authority on this procurement process . Please note other Welsh Authorities may join the framework.The New Framework will meet a significant proportion of 4Cs future placement requirements. The Framework Agreement will determine a preferred list of Residential Providers.The 4Cs have drafted a proposed forward procurement strategy and are now engaging with the market via a Request for Information on the proposed strategy.
