END OF TERM EVALUATION OF A COMMUNITY RENEWAL FUND PROJECT. (Rapid Skills Shortage Response - Practical short-term solutions for hospitality and green construction. Long term planning for growth in local food production).Coleg Sir Gâr is the lead organisation and contract holder of this work.Rapid Skills Shortage Response is a collaborative education and industry led project with the primary objective to address immediate and medium-term skills gaps within the hospitality and construction sectors. The project aimed to produce tangible benefits matching skills to jobs within the project period and establish a long-term vision for the growth of secondary food production through a research study. The aim of the project was to enable investment in a variety of skills and address current gaps in the employment markets for local businesses and communities, supporting unemployed people into employment and up-skilling people to realise their potential.The final evaluation will cover a number of differing elements relating to the project.To address the differing elements, the evaluation will be split into two distinct work packages;Work Package 1 – Process EvaluationWork Package 2 - Outcome EvaluationThe evaluation report will be used by project managers and strategic leads to identify areas of good practice and areas where improvements might need to be made. These will feed into the review of implementation and outcomes for future programme proposals.A written report, including an executive summary, should be prepared with the above audience in mind. It should cover each work package separately, including a description of the work undertaken, the findings from each work package and make recommendations.The final review will be required before the end of the programme - December 2022.All interviews are to be offered in Welsh or English.The evaluation must be provided in English and Welsh, and proof read by the Project Manager before being published.
