This funding is to continue a post that employs a person at St Mungos (a charity for homeless r people) for an outreach worker who is based in the BCC Street Intervention Service. That r contract has come to an end and is due to be recommissioned. We therefore need to directly r award this contract to whoever wins the rough sleeper service (RSS) contract because the post r has not been included in the recommissioned contract. One reason for this is that the TUPE r advice is to not include this and two posts in the core service specification. Also, this SIS post is r HRA funded and therefore not from the same budget as the core service. The employee has been in post for 2 years. The issues of timing and TUPE resulted in this funding/employee not being r included in the larger tender of the Rough Sleeper Service (RSS) now called Street Outreach r Bristol (SOB) service recently tendered and as of 14th June awarded to St Mungo's. This new r service is due to begin in 1st Oct 2021. The SOB contract is DN519842.
