The computerised system must be suitable for marine platforms and run on software approved by Lloyd's Register for planned maintenance schemes. The ILS package will include the ability to maintain configuration management and permit shore authorities to conduct audit and analysis. It will be capable of defect recording, rectification, and equipment history; it will have the ability for shore authorities to plan future maintenance periods and readily identify overdue maintenance; it will be able to hold certificates and trigger certificate renewal dates. The software package will need to interface with the onboard military stores database, currently OASIS, to provide stock holdings and information to the maintainer. Information held by the package must be readily transferable by commercial satellite for regular replication to remote waterfront units.Support will be required from the successful bidder in order to maintain the currency of the data held and to provide regular in-depth activity analysis and reports back to the authority and vessel.
