Provision of Contracted Training for Barbering VTCT Level 2 for Longford and Westmeath Education & Training Board (LWETB).This qualification will prepare the leaner for employment as a trainee junior unisex barber/hairdresser. On completion of this qualification the learner will widen their career opportunities from working as a barber/hairdresser to be able to offer unisex services through a variety of contexts, including:•Working in a unisex hair salon•Working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settingsThis qualification is the only VTCT qualification focused on developing the skills of qualified hairdressers to enter the men's hairdressing sector.
