Descriptions

The Authority wishes to establish a multi-provider Framework Agreement for the provision of Cut Paper and Specialist Printing Paper. The Authority is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public contracts Regulations 2006 (the Regulations).The framework agreement will include, as a minimum, the provision of virgin and recycled paper (bulk) and specialist printing paper.The Authority is procuring the Framework Agreement as a central purchasing body for itself and Other Contracting Bodies (OCB).This means that OCBs referred to in the OJEU Notice may also participate in the Framework Agreement.The Framework Agreement is being procured on behalf of all current and future member Institutions of NWUPC, NEUPC, CPC, LUPC, SUPC and affiliated Public Sector bodies, including HE institutions, FE colleges, Police Forces/Authorities, Registered Social Landlords, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Councils, and the Research Councils, as defined by the NWUPC Ltd. The agreement will commence on 3.6.2013 for an initial period of 3 years until 2.6.2016. Consideration will be given to extending the Agreement for a further 12 months until 2.6.2017, subject to market conditions and/or satisfactory supplier performance.Details of current membership for the above organisations can be found in the Tender documentation.
