The council are now looking to commission a contract for the provision of start-up supporthat targets Wolverhampton residents to engage and access skills that will provide themwith the right foundations to prepare, start and ensure the survival of their business. Theprovision should support the increase of new enterprises - sole trader, micro business, smalland medium-sized enterprise, or large business and includes social enterprises.In order to promote growth and productivity in the city, we are particularly keen for thesuccessful provider to encourage start-ups in growth sectors, e.g., tech, creative and digitaland those emerging markets such as the green economy.This contract is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fundhttps://www.gov.uk/government/publications/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus
