Descriptions
The project comprises of refurbishing and extending onto an existing indoor bowls hall to provide an activity center that meets the needs of the local community. The facilities are to include new four court sports hall in the existing bowls hall, a multipurpose studio, fitness suite, café and changing. In addition, the facility will create a valuable social hub with a community cafe included and new changing provision to meet the requirements for the proposed facility and external All weather pitch (AWP).r r The proposal will also provide a home for Copeland Occupational & Social Centre (COSC), allowing them to relocate from their existing premises in the Town Centre, which no longer meets their needs.
