Cyber Resilience in the public sector in Wales

Descriptions

Cyber attacks are becoming more frequent, more sophisticated and more damaging. The vision in the National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021 is that ‘the UK is secure and resilient to cyber threats, prosperous and confident in the digital world’. In Taking Wales Forward, it states that ‘we will work with our Police and Crime Commissioners and other key stakeholders to reduce cyber crime’.We require a piece of research to give us an informed picture of the cyber resilience landscape in Wales and intend to begin by initial investigation of parts of the public sector. This research is specialist and highly confidential and sensitive. It requires consultants who have the highest level of UK security clearance, as well as appropriate cyber resilience/security/crime expertise. The supplier would need the highest level of security clearance – termed as DV. This is clearance by GCHQ. This would be required as they would be going into public sector organisations and asking highly sensitive questions about cyber security and resilience.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=65343.
