This tendering exercise is aimed at procuring a secure cycle courier service for the Welsh Assembly Government sites, within a 6 mile radius in support of the Wlsh Assembly Governments Greening agenda through maintaining Level 5 of the Green Dragon Environment Standard.The Succesfull Contractor will provide the Welsh Assembly Government With a Cycle Courier service which will:Provide staff with more sustainable options for delivering post locally.Reduce the number of transport couriers resulting in reduced CO2 emissions.The succesfull contractor will provide a cycle courier service for 6 buildings in Cardiff, with scope to increase this within the life of the contract.Deliveries will be on an ad hoc basis to other buildings within a 6 mile radius, and the Succesfull Contractor will need to define definate timescales they deliver them within.The Succesfull Contractor will need to be identifiable and recognised to the public.The Succesfull Contractor will need to deliver correspondence/packagesup to 6 kilos.The Contractor will also need to define how they will deliver express packages.
