Cyclical Redecoration and Pre-decoration Repairs.

Procurement For All, a central purchasing body is seeking expressions of interest from suitably interested and qualified Service Providers (and included Sub-Service providers) who can undertake Supply and Fit Cyclical Decorations Work including, but not limited to, redecoration of existing decorated surfaces to windows, doors, fascias, rainwater and sanitary pipework, walls, soffits, to external fenestations and common parts including, but not limited to, communal rooms, together with redecoration to bin stores, garages, cycle sheds, fencing, railings, screens, gates and the like to boundaries, paths, drives and communal areas, staircases, access decks/balconies ordered in accordance with the provisions of the Contract which have been ‘packaged’ into a pre-planned programme of works. Cyclical Redecoration shall also be deemed to include the cleaning as specified of the external surfaces of any PVCu components or products e.g. windows, doors, soffits, fascias, cladding and the like that may be encountered.Pre-decoration Repairs includes for any installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement (other than that defined as Cyclical Redecoration) that is ordered in conjunction with Cyclical Redecoration and is required to be undertaken in conjunction with or before the Cyclical Redecoration can be undertaken.Associated Works includes any installation, construction, repairs, maintenance, renewals, reinstatement or replacement Works or Works of improvement (other than that defined as Cyclical Redecoration or Pre- Decoration Repairs) that may be ordered in conjunction with Cyclical Redecoration or may be ordered isolated from any Cyclical Redecoration works.The work includes but is not limited to;— Overhaul of rainwater goods including renewals;— Overhaul of external doors and windows including associated joinery repairs and renewals prior the decoration of external and internal communal area shared hall and stairways etc;— Decorations to external elevations including associated joinery and carpentry repairs / renewals;— Decoration to internal communal shared areas;— Works of renewal, improvement or repair not associated directly with Cyclical Redecoration of the component renewed or repaired; and— The provision of appropriate access to external elevations where necessary, to comply with current Health and Safety regulations (at time of works);The tender is for a position on a framework. It is envisaged that contracts will be let to Service Providers within the framework for the provision of Supply and Fit services and the like to social dwellings, sheltered schemes, supported and special needs properties and potentially, commercial properties in the Client's ownership or managed by the individual members (including future members) of the Procurement For All Consortium (under a series of partnering contracts). Procurement For All is a growing consortium of Registered Providers with housing stock distributed across England and Wales. In line with the growth strategy of Procurement For All it is envisaged that the properties included by current and future members will include an expanded range of property types, for example but not limited to, health and education related premises. Each member or groups of members may subsequently tender through a mini competition between the framework providers (to those Service Providers capable of carrying out the works in geographical areas as per the member's requirement).
