Gwent Police Authority invites expressions of interest for an off the shelf 3D mapping system. The system is required to support policing for the Ryder Cup.The system needs to replicate the Celtic Manor Resort and the surrounding road network in 3 dimensions and needs to interact with the existing GPS positional information from the Police Airwave radio network to show where individual officers are located on the course.The system shall also be used during training events in advance of the Ryder Cup to replicate hypothetical situations that will test elements of the plan and the decision making of the commander involved, with the ability to record all resource movements during the event so that they can be replayed at some stage in the future.The Authority must be able to view the system on more than one computer at a time including laptop; desktop and interactive white boards through wireless transmissions as well as broadband.
